NLP is a powerful technique that focus on ‘the way you think, feel and act’. It was created by Richard Bandler and David Grinder in the 1970’s. They studied successful people to find out what made them so successful.

NLP is based on modelling excellence, which makes it a perfect tool to use because it taps into our earliest form of learning that we did as a child. Children learn very quickly and easily because they mimicking or copying the people around them. But as we get older our learning style becomes more cognitively based and we forget this basic process of learning and changing. However, when we apply modelling as a tool, we magnify the field of learning, at a much higher level.
How does NLP work
NLP gives us a specific method to bring unconscious behaviours & thinking into conscious awareness by focusing on very sensory specific information. Most problematic behaviours run outside our awareness they can be difficult to change and by unravelling our experiences we can find out what sensory information is missing and add it in.
So, for example if your images are scary black and white images and you change them into colour, they might become more inviting and less frightening for you, helping you to instantly feel better.
So, by simply changing how we represent the problem in our neurology we can recode and transform old experiences completely. In effect, learning to understand “how we think and do what we do” helps give us the tools to become our own personal life-coaches.
Physical, emotional and psychological problems NLP can be used to help with are:
